Western Gold

This net began with carefully selected stabilized maple burl chosen for pattern, color, and compact figure. The handle is reinforced with a center laminate of wenge to create a stronger, more durable handle. It has been professionally stabilized with an acrylic resin for a truly heirloom net that will last generations. It also features a smooth rubber net bag which protects the fish and prevents hook snags.

We bent and laminated strips of curly maple, purpleheart and wenge into a graceful hoop that's as strong as it is beautiful. The handle is hand-shaped for a natural feeling grip, and the 9-coat hand-rubbed water-resistant finish will have you wondering how wood can feel that silky yet grippy.
