This gorgeous stately Carolina Cherry Burl net is from an amazing chunk of a spectacularly figured burl. There are over 30 man hours into creating it. The small inlaid copper & Kingman Turquoise clusters you see fill natural inclusions in the burl. The burl is laminated over a piece of Wenge to give it the necessary strength to be a fine piece of fly fishing equipment. I created this sophisticated net to utilize one of the last few pieces of treasured chunks of this Urban wood for its best and highest use.
